Welcome to the world of Elite Cats Sphynx world

My name is David Gladwin and together with family I breed the unique, wonderful, loving and hairless Sphynx cat.

With my allergy to cat hair, I never thought that my family would ever be able to own a pet cat. So, to live with and share our love with this amazing, unique and wonderful breed of cats is a dream come true.

Our whole family adores animals and we have always had pets to care for. Together with my allergy and living in an apartment in the centre of London, it was only possible to care for certain pets such as our lovely pet snake, rat, three hamsters, tropical fish and our four African Grey parrots.  Then, one day I read an article in a magazine about the Sphynx a hairless cat that would make a wonderful pet for someone with a cat hair allergy. This was fabulous news for us, so we started to make inquires and managed to visit someone that owned Sphynx cats. I was astonished to find that I had no allergic reaction to them at all. But, more than this, we were all overwhelmed by the cats’ friendliness and beauty. We instantly fell in love with the Sphynx breed so we contacted some wonderful breeders and to our great delight, we soon became very good friends with them.

It was not long before we became happy parents to some of the most fabulous Sphynx kittens, that are now part of our family and loved by us all.

We then decided to follow our hearts and set up our own cattery in Carina’s beautiful home region in the province of Hälsingland, Sweden. To  be able to give other allergy sufferers and cat lovers the opportunity to meet and maybe even own one of these incredible cats, is a wonderful feeling.

All of the Elite Cattery cats have been picked to give our kittens the best quality pedigree and we give each of our kittens all the love and attention that it deserves.

Our aims

We aim to:

• as breeders, to have the cats/kittens and the breeds best interest at heart.
   
• breed friendly, loving, affectionate, playful and 100% loveable cats;
   
• give all of our pregnant queens a spacious room of her own, where she can love, care and teach her babies to become secure, friendly and independent young cats, with a lot of love from our family;
   
• give our wonderful stud cats lots of affection, love and a spacious environment in our home to live in;
   
• give all of our fantastic cats and kittens a loving, peaceful and spacious environment to grow up in;
   

• make sure that all of our kittens have an affectionate, caring and secure home in the future;
   
• give allergy sufferers and other cat lovers the opportunity to meet and maybe later own one of these extraordinary cats;
   
• give all of our kitten’s adoptive parents the support that they need;
